It took our group 1.5-2 hours to climb it. We estimated it was 2-4 miles long. We spent the night at Apache Lake the evening before. We had a great time enjoying the campfire at the restaurant and chose to get a room. There is tons of lakeside camping at the resort and in Crab Tree Wash and Davis Wash. Call me bias but I think Apache Lake is one of the prettiest lakes in Arizona. A hidden gem! There were also a few awesome campsites within a mile (estimate) of the waterfall where we saw a couple groups of backpackers. After our hike we enjoyed a couple adult beverages while watching the sunset over the lake. The perfect end to a perfect day. A lot of folks fail to realize that Reavis Ranch and Reavis Falls are quite far apart and completely different in vegetation. These falls are seasonal. We had been keeping a close eye on Instagram and posts on this site in hopes to catch seasonal falls and we were so happy to see them running. Feel free to message me here or in IG with questions or concerns! Happy hiking! |
