| partners | | A pleasant Saturday stroll to Reavis Falls with Linda and my dog Payton aka Miss Chunky butt, Wiggles, etc.. Anyway this is was my first trip to falls and it was seemed alot easier than all of the hike descriptions ive read about it, I could see how the creek crossings could be much trickier in high flow but all in all the trail was in excellent condition whcih made for easy travel. Next trip here i would like to see the falls from the top of the canyon and hoepfully catch them after a proper snowmelt. As we made it back to TH we saw a large group of canyoneers that were setting out on a 3 backpacking trip and overheard them saying they were planning on rappelling down the falls... I still can't believe the group of canyoneers somehow drove a miniature 2wd school bus contraption to get the dozen of them to TH parking lot I would have been afriad that bus was going to roll backwards down fr rd 212  |
