| no partners | | | Nice hike up near the top of Peak 5885 which is just south of Pine Butte in the Mazatzal Mtns. Daytime temps were in the upper 80's, humidity was a little high but not bad with my shaded route up the NE side of the peak. Early morning temp was a nice and cool 65 degrees. Found only very small puddles in the drainage coming off the peak. This part of the Mazatzals seemed to miss the bulk of the summer rains although I did find green grass and collection ponds had water however only parts of Sycamore Creek had any running water with most sections dry. |
