I may have a new favorite hike in the Catalinas. This route is phenomenal, especially the East and West Fork trails. The huge canyon views and rumbling creeks make it hard to believe you are in Tucson. Love it! The variable up/downs along the way make it tough enough to keep your interest as well.

Be careful with your creek crossings. In the spirit of our fearless Joe, I too took the Nestea Plunge this weekend...into Bear Canyon Creek.....holding my camera. Not cool, folks.

Aside from that little annoyance, this was still a wonderful, tough hike.
