I thought about doing Spencer trail but was afraid of the heat and going solo. I figured this was the next best thing with that kind of view and I was in the area. Wow this place is busy with a Smorgasbord of people. They are working on some of the trail and view spots. It is an awesome sight. Some of the trail is sandy so maybe not open toes. Short trail but it's hot. Some people seemed a little heated and some carried no water. :scared:
