Along our way from Jacob Lake to Chinle, I remembered that we would be passing right by the Horseshoe Bend View Overlook. we stopped there at the peak heat of the day since we left our cabin a bit later and enjoyed the views. before setting out, we had to demonstrate that we all had enough water and whatnot since the view ends at a cliff with no manmade handrails or safety measures. It was very cool to see this area, but it was also at times unnerving since were were up so high. Nice to see the typical shots,and enjoy the experience of an iconic tourist stop.
