This was a good one! Starts in Vail near the gondola area. It's listed as 3.2, I clocked more starting at the Gore Valley sign and trail repeats to help with the dogs. The first segment is kinda blah, except for the gondolas overhead. Once you hit the forested area, it is beautiful with trees and wildflowers. It was difficult to capture this due to the defused light.
There are plenty of creek crossings to keep any "waterdogs" happy.

This hike ends at the Vail Ski Area's Eagles Nest. I was able to have a hot coffee, and relax on the terrace in the sun. Adult beverages are available too.
