| no partners | | we decided to take a trip out to the Jennie Lakes wilderness between sequoia and kings canyon. found nice hike from the Big Meadow area.
excellent trail out to Weaver Lake. nice big trees with some occasional expansive views. mellow smooth grade. the lake itself was very nice and we spent a good long while having a picnic and checking things out. couple people there, but not much.
met a friendly horse on the way out. overall, this seems like a fairly popular place. for good reason too
very cool area. would like to see the namesake Jennie Lake sometime too |
