We decided to take advantage of what may be the last cool weekend of the season and check out this little hideaway, Not quite a shang-ra-la, but still a nice, shady little trek once you get into the lower part of the wash. I wouldn't want to do this in 100+ weather. Kat almlost stepped ona 6' gopher snake, saw a little hawk, and lots of lizards an dground squirrels. Not a bad hike!
