| partners | | We stopped in to the Visitor Center to get permits for Spry and Keyhole. The ranger was a bit annoyed with us because she didn’t think we had time to do both canyons. We told her our times on the other canyons and she said, ‘did you see anything?’ I told her that I had taken 1000 photos so far. She went ahead and issued the permits. As we left we laughed because we we’re headed to brunch next, that really would have pissed her off!
After breakfast we dropped off a car at the bottom and then headed up to the approach. Hiking in we were treated to a herd of bighorns crossing our path. Then we started out of the drainage to hike up and over into Spry Canyon.
Spry was different than the other canyons we had done. Not as many narrow sections. But still pretty.
When we got done we went for dinner and then on to Keyhole for a dark trip! |
