A lot of people were happy to see more springtime snakes on their hikes, but now it seems like scorpions are starting to decorate the nighttime trails with their presence. Snake activity seems to be slowing down a bit in the East Valley, so we need to change up our hiking habits to increase the likelihood to seeing them. I'll stick to my nightly habits for now because coral snake season is here until mid-June.
