| no partners | | | Last day in Hurricane. Returned to Hurricane Hills to ride some more of the trails. Parked on Sheep Bridge road at Dead Ringer to start my ride. There's a proper trailhead down the road, but I didn't want to drive as far on the dusty bladed graded dirt road. Headed north on Dead Ringer and touched the bottom of yesterday's loop. Headed a short distance west on Jem to catch Goosebumps. Goosebumps is a nice long piece of single track that follows the base of Gooseberry Mesa. Goosebumps eventually dumps you onto a jeep/atv trail that has a steady descent all the way back to the proper trailhead parking lot on Sheep Bridge road. From there I followed Dead Ringer trail back to my truck. Trails in this area are super dry and dusty as they haven't seen any rain in some time. |
