| no partners | | | Definitely a destination bike / hike. Started at the White Trailhead with my Hurricane RV neighbor and jumped on the double black diamond South Rim trail. A mix of tall brush and white dot slickrock. A lot of short, steep drops and climbs. Incredible views from Gooseberry point. Returned on a combination of White Trail (jeep road) and North Rim trail (blue diamond). Road in is a combination of bladed/graded washboard slow going in a one ton pickup. High clearance not required. Signs to trailhead are clearly posted along the route in. About 40 minute drive from Hurricane. |
