| no partners | | Hiked the Sunrise Mountain Trail that starts at the Westwing Elementary school. The trail was well groomed and easy to follow.
We missed three benchmarks on the walk up but found them coming out very close to the the trailhead. This was a great hike with some spectactular views of Lake Pleasant dam and the Stadium.
You can print a very nice trail map at the city of Peoria website. The website lists the trail as Advanced--but it was not.
Great scenary, some shade and a nice breeze could be found throughout the hike. |
