Hiked to the top of the mountain and then attempted to follow the loop back to the bottom (Trail 44). Got off trail when it split and ended up on some rather steep trails. Gave up and climbed back to the top before it got to hot.

Great views but the trail was not marked very well (when compared to Shaw Butte right next door).

May try it in the opposite direction to figure out where we went off track,
