I did this one today as a tribute to Samuel Young or syoung here on HAZ. Three years ago today he left us and many of us know that the Flatiron was his favorite hike. He was so fast at it that I used to question if his stats were even real. I witnessed him powering up and blazing back down enough times to know that those times were legit. I think of him almost every time I do the Flatiron and other times as well. I sincerely hope he is in a better place now. This one was for you Sam!
