Something happened this afternoon that was long overdue. I got the opportunity to do a hike with my aunt. Her intentions were to go to the Grand Canyon and go in and camp for a couple days. Flight delays and other issues derailed her plans and I went to Flagstaff yesterday to pick her up. Today I had the chance to experience my first hike with her. We did the Flatiron and 5024. She is 74 years old and has hiked and climbed all around the world. What a treat it was to finally get to hike with her.
