| partners | | Mt. Borah to Chicken out Ridge: Belinda, Kevin and Kim camped at the TH the night before for a 0500 start time. Ugh. When I found out about the 20’ vertical wall, I decided that I wouldn’t be able to climb that with Rudy. So we stayed at our original camp and had a much more reasonable start time.
This hike is a pumpkin kicker from the get go. Relentless elevation gain starting at about 7000’. Luckily it had rain the previous two days so the well used trail wasn’t slippery. I really think the most difficult part of this is the decent, two days later, I am still sore.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area, or doing high points. |
