The sun was trying to peek out from behind the clouds as I got there and right away spotted both Bald Eagles on different poles along Hayden Road. So I hoofed it around the lake and snapped some pictures. Then I heard Mark Koster yelling at me back across the lake so I walked back around to join up with him. Soon after that one of the eagles began flying around and came across the lake to land in a tree not far from us. Later he made another trip around and landed on the island. so now we hoofed it to get pictures. Then he took off again and went and snagged a fish from the lake. I was to far away for a good shot but I got a fair one. It was a thrill to see one in action instead of just sitting on a pole. Although it wore me out! |
