This was my first time on Flatiron and actually my first hike in the Superstition Mountains. I went with a couple of good friends that have been trying to talk me into doing this hike for about a year. Flatiron is an amazing hike that can't be properly described in words to someone that hasn't experienced it first hand. This hike is basically a ladder. The elevation gain is shocking for such a short distance. The only big personal downside to the experience was the amount of people on the trail. You can forget about solitude. Even with all the people, I am still really glad I did it.
