| no partners | | Today I went to the westside of Lake Pleasant. I finally found a petroglyph panel I have been looking for, for years. I am sure my "rock idol", Hansenaz, didn't find this panel because it was in someone's backyard. I had read that the panel (boulder) was moved to the bottom of a terrace(by someone). So that's where I have been looking. Now it sits on the south end of the lake near a park building. The panel use to sit north of Indian Mesa Ruin before it was stolen.
After visiting the petroglyph panel, I went north to visit a site I had been to about 10years ago. I dont know the name of the site but I call it Cow Creek Site. Now that I am older, I did not want to hike the hilly terrain. I was able to get the jeep within .25miles of the site.
Tried to revisit a third site today but it started to sprinkle and I did not want to get caught out in the open with a storm approaching. |
