| no partners | | | I saw this reffered to as Vertigo Spire in a 2016 triplog so I'm going with that! This is the spire on the west side of Chuparosa Canyon. I've been back here many times but never tried to approach it from this direction. I took the route up thru the canyon and crossed over the double (dry) falls and headed up the slick rock as much as I could. There is always something new to see back in here but it's off-trail and challenging! Made it above 3,000 feet but had to turn back cuz it was getting late and it looked more difficult higher up. I think my route from 2014 is probably the better choice although it is more off-trail. |
