| no partners | | | Not wanting to face the crowds in Yosemite on a Saturday, we opted for this little hike about 5 miles from our campground. What a nice hidden gem! A well maintained trail along the South Fork Tuolumne River, with a few microbursts of uphill/downhill scrambling towards the end. There was only a handful of people while we were here, but there was a large Boy Scout troop heading there when we were on our way out. This makes us remember that even in a BIG park like Yosemite, we must not ignore the little gems nearby. |
