Checked out the snow situation on the Abineau Bear Jaw Loop. Always cool to see how much snow is still up there in late May. Being the north slope of course it hangs on for quite awhile. The upper Abineau portion had the most snow pack as usual and the beginning of the Waterline road had a healthy snow bank.

Took a lunch break on Waterline before the Bear Jaw junction. Aspens were leafing out lower down but on Waterline it was still winter for the aspens. Heading down Bear Jaw almost no snow left and easy hike back to the trailhead.
