I woke up and thought this is a perfect day for a cherry dip cone.. I arrived at the park at 9:40 and was given a strict warning not to hike due to the heat. Nice to see them looking out, but I went ahead on my journey anyway.. Glad I did because ithere was a nice breeze, and I had the entire trail to myself.
