My friend Nikki had never been to Picacho and asked if I would take her. We started on the Sunset Vista Trail, and immediately encountered a group of 18 who were here from Anthem. After that, it was pretty much smooth sailing to the top where we met a couple other guys who came up Im thx Hunter Trail but mentioned they would be going down via the Sunset and walking in the road. I offered to give them the keys to my 4Runner so we could go down to Hunter Trail and they could just meet us at the trailhead. That way Nikki could see both trails. We met them at the Hunter trailhead and then she and I went to Dairy Queen for some cherry dipped cones.
