I hiked this area several years ago and it was completely trashed at that time. This is the best use of funds I have seen by the BLM. The transformation is beautiful. The entire spring area seems to have been restored with the plants and animals back. A very pleasant place to have a family outing with covered picnic tables available and a short distance from the Las Vegas Strip.
