I took a 4x2 truck down and had to phone a friend to come tow me out. Don’t listen to what others on YouTube have said that you don’t need 4x4 as I had no chance of making it back up this rocky hill. However, the hike was beautiful and I’d love to do it again (just park way further up on 848.) Pretty straight forward following a jeep trail along haigler the whole way. Also found a sweet swimming/ jumping spot. Falls had a decent flow and decent fall colors surrounding the area. Despite not getting back to my cabin in payson until 7:00 PM after a 10 AM start, it was a beautiful day in some beautiful country. |
