At the bottom there was a little scrambling to reach the creek. The water was a little chilly but felt great. We traveled upstream via use trails, the jeep road that intermittently paralleled the creek, and walking in the creek when necessary. There were multiple cascades and swimming holes along the way. The falls were more impressive than expected. The water was flowing well, and it was much taller than it looks in the pictures. We hung out in the falls, played in the swimming hole, and climbed around for a couple hours, then headed back. We didn't see anyone else the entire day. Beautiful day, perfect weather for jumping in a creek. |
