| no partners | | Quick weekend trip to visit mom and friends back in Reading PA. My buddy, Dodson, usually has something interesting planned for me during my visit and this trip was a whopper! Started from his house on Reading Ave near Wyomissing High School and headed east through neighborhoods and parks to pick up the Schuylkill River trail and crossed said river to the Reading Area Community College campus. Continued east on Penn Street with a stop at Cafe de Columbia for a cup of the best coffee I've ever had. Back eastward bound to Reading City Park, north on 11th Street then west on Washington. Short stop at McGinty Motorcars to chat with the owner and peruse the wide selection of interesting cars including a beautiful 1924 Buick. Westbound on Washington, then over to Elm street with a stop at Super Natural Produce Market to practice our spanish and pick up some tubers before continuing back on Elm, then Buttonwood Street Bridge back across the Schuylkill River in to West Reading. Got caught up in a No Kings rally on Penn Ave on our way back to Wyomissing. Great weather. Awesome weekend. Forgot to turn on my tracker, too bad, so sad  |
