| no partners | | Getting ready to go to Utah so a trip down memory lane. I've been exploring up there for 14 or so years and never get tired of it. Mostly spring and fall and now some summer in the high country.
I thought I would log some of my more memorable past trips so here is one in 2006. It was only a couple of days but boy oh boy what a place. If I get back there, which I hope, I will dry camp at the top of Sundance trail to get better photos of the inner canyon. Sundance has a sort of reputation as a 50 degree talus slope slide to negotiate with a backpack. It isn't that bad with poles.
It was a warm May and I swam a lot in hallways of glowing gold water and blue limestone. I camped near a waterfall. I saw three gorgeous naked men ( and got several email addresses).
I walked in a paradise. I didn't take that many photos, unusual for me. |
