Started hiking from the Carney Springs parking area. Should have started from the Lost Goldmine trailhead to avoid the longer return from the Peralta trailhead. Saw very few people the entire hike. The trail from West Boulder saddle to Fremont saddle was a little challenging to find, but not too bad. Quite a few cairns along the way. Beautiful area. Returning on the Cave trail was a pleasure. Quite a bit of water still in the washes and creeks from the recent rains.
