| no partners | | An easy drive that I wouldn't be shy about taking my Honda Civic on. However if you want to take any of the side trips then you'll want at least a high clearance vehicle.
It's a 40+ mile drive through desert scenery that starts in Buckeye and ends about 40 miles east of Gila Bend in I-8. You'll pass by some old mines and ghost towns. There's a popular rock hounding area along the way near 4th of July Butte as well. Plenty of campsites along the way if you want to make a two day trip out of it as I did. There is tons to explore here and lots of off trail hiking to be had! |
