| no partners | | | A group of us from the Sierra Club took the Phx 7-Summit Challenge. The time started at REI PV at 6:00 am. Everyone was required to complete Papago first, and then the shuttle to Camelback second. The remaining five could be done in any order. We chose: Piestewa, South, Lookout, Shaw, and North. Then it was back to REI PV to complete the 21-mile, 5,600+ ft elevation change trek, which we did in 10 hours (total time, REI to REI, including driving). The event ran fairly smoothly for being as large as it was and it being the inaugural year. We all had a blast and will do it again next year : ) |
