| no partners | | I saw a picture of the Redwall Cavern area at a recent art festival and decided I needed to go. The photographer told me that he went on a 12 day rafting trip to get there. I don't have that much spare time and inquired about the possibility of another route. He looked at me and said, "there is one but you wouldn't want to do it". That was just about all the incentive I needed to start working toward making this trip a reality.
We ran up to South Canyon for a quick scouting trip to check roads, turns and a small portion of the route. I love the colors in this area! The upcoming plan is to take the "shortcut" down, check out Stanton's Cave, Vasey's Paradise and Redwall Cavern. We will overnight at the river and climb back out the following day.
It looks like it will be an adventure and a half! |
