| no partners | | This hike was planned in advance as a warm up for a Scout crew going to Philmont Scout Ranch this summer. Some were a bit reluctant to take this on due to the weather, but I was quick to tell them that it isn't every day you get to hike in the fog and rain near Phoenix, AZ!
It turned out to be an awesome hike. As the pictures show, we were hiking through some showers and some very cool Saguaros in the fog. That doesn't happen too often. We went in a CCW direction, had lunch at the saddle (abbreviated by some wind and rain) and finished the loop.
After we arrived back at the vehicles, it starting raining very hard...perfect timing! A great day at Pass Mountain. |
