The Friend wanted to go Hiking again... :D His Feet were bothering him, so he went out and bought some new Asolo Boots and wanted to do another 10 Miler with just a little AEG...I kinda had a Joe Bartels reaction, but unlike me, he had a couple of Days to "break" them in a little before our Hike, so I wasn't as worried... But he also had a Time Limit this Time sooo....It took a bit and some back and forth with him, but then I remembered this Hike and it was Perfect. I knew it would be warmer than last time, so my Goal was to be done by Noon even though he could go a tad later.

I was worried that the Heavy Wind was going to give us more messed up, dusty Views, but was pleasantly surprised at how clear the Air was compared to the Aftermath of last week. And I knew this Wind would probably be our last "Cool Front".... :(

It was a great Choice...It's been awhile since I've done this one, but it was as I remembered...That Trail is just so nice! The Temps were perfect and the slight Breeze kept the Gnats away just enough...The last Mile or so, it got a little Warm and the Breeze quit, so the Gnats started to make an appearance, but all in all, no complaints! I pushed us some, but we ended up taking a few nice Breaks in there and still finished by 11:30. :D I think the Friend was actually a little glad at that Point that we didn't have another 2 Miles to go to make his "10 Miler".... Especially given the fact that we had to push his '74 Chevy Full Sized Pickup to try to get it started since he left his Lights on and we didn't have Jumper Cables...Good thing it was a Manual Transmission...

Great Views, lots of cooperative Critters and Saguaro Blooms were the Order of the Day on this one...Another nice Hike in the Books with a Friend... :)
