October 2014 Not your traditional Rim 2 Rim in a single day but loved this trip with my wife. Day 1 (October 6) - took the shuttle from the South Rim to the North Rim and camped there. Day 2 - backpacked to Cottonwood CG. Day 3 - backpacked to Bright Angel CG
