Typical Northwest day. When we started it was raining a little bit. Then we got breaks of sunshine, gusty winds, rain again and then sun again. Falls were both great. Above Umbrella Falls is the Meadows Ski area where there would have been great views if Mt. Hood was not socked in by clouds. We ate lunch in the parking lot in hopes of catching a glimpse of the mountain but no such luck....
