Great trip. Hydraulics are currently filled with sediment.

3 mil wetsuit is barely enough, but you will have to seek sun to avoid getting too cold. Most will want more.

4 days straight of 4 difficult technical canyons... What a great canyon to finish our stay in Ouray with! :y: The main issue with this canyon is the 4-6cfs flow making for some wild waterfall rappelling with some potentially nasty hydraulics underneath. :o Thru good rope techniques and rappelling we were able to stay safe, but a real hazard def exists. The handful of waterfall rappels are pretty sweet but this canyon is dominated by loads & loads of down climbing and rock hopping. : rambo : In the lower section you hit this sweet spot with 3 sweet falls in a row and having to rappel right thru the infamous La Cappella Falls. Don't fight the flow, just let it glide you down the rope to the pool below. :) Kinna sad to finish this canyon and get dumped onto the highway knowing that's the last canyon of the trip. :( We did SO many great canyons that it's tough to rank them. Hitting the Ouray Hot Springs afterwards really helped my sore body loosen up. :GB:
