I wandered the rim for a little while checking out the waterfalls and then crossed Perrine Bridge. It was a beautiful day and BASE jumpers were abundant on the bridge. One of the guys I watched jump made news recently by taking a 102 year-old woman tandem jumping with him. He did more backflips then a Mexican luchador and didn't pull his chute until halfway to the water. All the jumpers landed safely in the landing zone. It actually looks like a fun activity I'd like to try someday.

Basically a flat trail along the rim of the Snake River. The original bridge was finished in 1927. When it was built it was the highest bridge in the world. It was replaced in 1976 and is now referred to as the Perrine Bridge. It is 486 feet above the Snake River. It is also note worthy for BASE jumpers as you can legally jump off this bridge 365 days a year. None were present the day I was there.
