| no partners | | after a big girl breakfast of french toast and bacon at the campground, we packed up and headed down spearfish canyon
several things to do along here
had recommendations from sue's friend and from @azlot69 for devils bathtub
this one was a lot of fun, hiking up squaw creek with a dozen water crossings
several nice pools, one with a slide and the bathtub just below a waterfall
i took a dunk - cold but refreshing
the trail is lined with poison ivy  safety first!
a couple miles further down canyon, was iron creek trail
we found this one in a trail addict booklet
mostly level two track following iron creek which has a few small waterfalls
very pleasant stroll in the woods, the first part of it with steep canyon walls
next were a couple of touristy things near savoy
spearfish falls and roughlock falls were nice to see while in the area
very scenic canyon and there are a lot more hikes southwest of savoy
drove back through lead and deadwood, spending the night in a motel in rapid city
