Started out going towards the swing by a thunderstorm made us turn back. Hung out under the bridge on the connector for fun before calling it a day. First outing since the February Bears Ears death hike and all the health stuff, so feeling pretty alright about it overall.

Great hike today, probably my favorite in Pocatello yet, though it was longer than advertised, as per usual. Saw deer, moose, grouse, and other wildlife. Plus the forests and creeks were delightful in the morning light and coolness. Still a bit smokey, but a minor complaint. Some leaves are starting to turn...
