Awesome triple ascent in the Hualapai Mountains! We hiked from the Ranger station up to Hualapai Peak and scaled the east side (bad idea), returned down to the campsite and up the road to Hayden Peak. Backtrack to the campground and up Aspen Peak. Then we completed the loop back to the car. Besides seeing two deer, a half dozen horned lizards and a golden eagle; we we treated to a surprise appearance by Wally and the Stillernator along the trail!! Such a great hike, and a beautiful area.
