| no partners | | Very easy day hike, our four year old did it fairly easy. Don't go if it's windy. About half way end the trail go into a sandy wash and you proceed on that til the end of the canyon. The formations are volcanic and red rock. At the trails end 1.5 miles you can climb up into a beautiful culdesac soundrounded on all sides by at least 80 foot red rock, if you have little-ones a rope is a good idea, the climb is tricky. |

| no partners | | Very dry and loose footing for the little one. Took lots of breaks looking at and stepping on bugs. We did find a nice place for a picnic and rest. |
