| no partners | | We wanted a hike but the first stretch is a wide loose gravel road entirely uphill. After that, the trail gets quite steep with very few switchbacks. The upper half is a mountain climb to the peak. All up hill and took 1:30; going down took me 20 minutes.
Best part of this trip is the 360 degree views. On a clear day you can see several area mountains and the downtown skyline.
A few lizards, rabbits, and quail, but didn't see any snakes, only signs of snake. Light wind at the trailhead but moderately windy at the peak.
Good cardio challenge; not what my wife wanted this day! |
