| no partners | | | Having taken a few years off of hiking, this was an excellent way to return to a passion of mine. My friend and I started off at the base of the tram route, early one Saturday morning, hiking through the desert in the cool morning. The area was somewhat crowded, until we got off the pavement, after which we only saw one other group of people, until returning to the pavement the next day. The hike was good, and the trail well marked and easy to find, with the only exception being shortly after the trail splits into west fork and east fork. The views out towards Tucson were wonderful in the early morning. |
