Map and route description to find the trail head are near perfect. Found the start, plenty of parking. We were two couples staying at a cabin nearby. beautiful day, partly cloudy low 70's. The route is very nicely marked, it is easy to get side tracked though as there are many logging paths throughout the hike.

Next time in Show Low we will try this one again, just right for us middle aged old farts.

Took two international fiends. One of them from Uzbekistan had never even seen a forest before. They enjoyed it.

Nice warm day, I think it set a record for most of Arizona that day.

Saw only one other couple with a dog. Creek was running, but not so full we could not easily cross the creek several times in dry boots.

Nothing too noteworthy. Seemed warm and dry already, way past spring flowers. We had a very warm March this year (2015)
