| no partners | | This was a wonderful 1st hike in AZ. Was with our daughter. (This was organized by the McDowell MEETUP group) This particular hike was special because we had a guest speaker who knew a lot about the history of the McDowell park; its roots, owner and the latest history. We stopped and enjoyed the views and listened to our guest share stories of the trail. The hike itself wouldn't take too long, but if you are going to "stop and smell the roses", sort of speak, then it will take the entire morning. I'd say there were about 25 in the group. All ages. the trail was very nice, flat, dry and wide. I'll be going back to do this hike again. |

Wildflowers Observation Light Not much, but there were signs of spring. I must make it a point to go again same time in 2016 to enjoy the spring foliage. |
