This is listed as a technical route, but 99% of this canyon can be seen without any technical gear. Details on the bypass are as you enter the first narrows section, there
is a permanent pool with a chockestone above it. If you walk back a few feet you'll see a way to climb about 20 ft above the canyon on the left, then you traverse on a goat trail and drop back into canyon by down climbing a crack/fissure in the wall. It is not technical, maybe class 3, and this takes you to an overgrown section above the chockestone. From here you can hike up the canyon all the way to the end with no more technical sections. Have fun hiking!

This canyon is more scenic than Prometheus and its also possible to seem most of this canyon without any technical gear. Like Prometheus you come to a pool where the walls narrow in. A few feet back on the left is a bypass route that climbs up a crack/fissure in the wall and then you traverse maybe 20 or 30 feet and drop back down above the pool. From here you can walk up most of the way and see most of this canyon without any technical rock climbing gear at all.

This is a walk up a steep jeep road that constantly and steeply climbs up to the very end of it. But once you gain some elevation in about a mile or so, the views are good the whole way to the end. It gets you to the trail head for hose canyon which looks technical and if you have the any energy left you can work your way down into the hose canyon drainage then walk to the entrance of hose canyon, which is the prominent dark looking crack in the cliff band in front of you. From other triplogs, hose canyon is technical requiring rappels right from the beginning of it.

If you hike upstream from Tortilla Flat store, from the over flow parking area, the creek
passes through an awesome set of Narrows about half mile upstream. Its kind of overgrown at the beginning but it gets better after quarter mile. This is probably the best polished granite in the Superstitions.
